A leading oncology pharmacist with over 20 years of experience in clinical pharmacy and oncology care. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy (Oncology specialization) from the University of Nairobi.
Dr. Winnie Wanjiku Mwangi
Clinical Pharmacist (Oncology), Head of Clinical Pharmacy – KUTRRH
Vice Chair – OPSOK
Highly experienced clinical pharmacist specializing in oncology with over a decade of expertise in cancer care. She played a key role in establishing the oncology unit at Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Anita Mucua, MSc
Oncology Pharmacist – KUTRRH
Organizing Secretary & Founding Member – OPSOK
Pioneer of oncology pharmacy practice at KUTRRH. She holds an MSc in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham (UK) and completed an NHS observership at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Senior Pharmacist Specialist – Kenyatta National Hospital
Treasurer – OPSOK
Seasoned clinical pharmacist with over 20 years of professional practice. He provides specialized pharmaceutical care to pediatric cancer patients and plays a key role in palliative care programs.
Dr. Gavin Orangi
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist & County Oncology Coordinator – Makueni County
Secretary – OPSOK
Clinical pharmacy specialist bridging direct patient care and health systems strengthening. As County Oncology Coordinator, he oversees cancer care programs spanning over 240 public health facilities.
Dr. Dennis Mumo Mbuve
Lead Pharmacist – Nairobi Hospital Cancer Centre
Vice Secretary – OPSOK
Dedicated oncology pharmacist specializing in cancer chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and supportive care. With over six years of practice, he leads pharmaceutical services at Nairobi Hospital Cancer Centre.
Dr. Patrick Muthini John
County Cancer Focal Person & Lead Clinical Pharmacist – Phangisile Mtshali Cancer Centre, Kitui County
Clinical pharmacist with over nine years of experience spanning hospital pharmacy, oncology, pharmaceutical logistics, and health systems management. He serves as Deputy County Pharmacist overseeing the LMIS docket.
Dr. Katu Mutungi
Programme Navigator – Clinical Research Unit, Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi
Programme Navigator with a background in pharmacy and clinical research, bringing experience across oncology pharmacy, clinical trial operations, and electronic health record implementation. At the CRU, she leads strategic planning, supports grant management, and manages partnerships and feasibility for clinical trials.
Dr. Emmy Kinya Kinoti
Oncology Pharmacist – Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital (MeTRH)
Trained pharmacist with approximately five years of experience in oncology pharmacy practice. Currently pursuing a Master in Oncology Pharmacy at Kabarak University, she previously served as team lead for pharmacists in the Oncology Unit at MeTRH and coordinated MDTs at the facility.
Dr. Nehal Shah
Oncology Pharmacist – M.P. Shah Hospital, Nairobi
Oncology pharmacist dedicated to improving the safety and effectiveness of cancer treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Manipal University and an MSc in Oncology from Newcastle University. With extensive oncology experience, she works with multidisciplinary medical teams to optimise chemotherapy regimens, manage treatment-related toxicities, and support patients through their cancer journey.
